Description
Bovine Serum Albumin (also known as BSA or "Fraction V"),is a serum albumin protein derived from bovine blood. The BSA protein is purified and fractionated through a certain heat-shock procedure, followed by extensive diafiltration andion-exchange to remove other plasma proteins, lipids, and extraneous ions.
This Diagnostic Grade BSA Powder is designed to minimize analytes that cause background interference.Accordingly, thisBSA can be used for sensitive immunoassays, including ELISAs(Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent assay),immunoblots andimmunohistochemistry, and as a stabilizing agent for protein reagents.Further applications include,e.g.,for serum-free cellculture,as additive for hybridoma cellculture, protein stabilizer, and blocking agent.
Product Features:
Manufactured through a proprietary two-step purification/heat shock process, this product delivers consistent high-quality BSA with uniform quality.
It is ideal for applications requiring high protein purity and low endotoxin levels.
The diagnostic-grade BSA powder is engineered to minimize background interference from analytes, making it suitable for sensitive immunoassays including ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay), immunoblotting, and immunohistochemistry.
It also serves as a protein stabilizer.
